Founded in 1990, Hage Engineering PC was voted as the first place nationwide winner of Structural Engineer Magazine's "Best Structural Engineering Firm to Work For" and "Best Training Program" in 2008. Throughout our involvement in over 2,600 projects, our firm has won over 70 awards including AIA, SARA, NY Construction News, Palladio, I.D. Magazine, James Beard, and the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission Award. Our multi-disciplined staff has a strong background in architecture, sustainability, and preservation. This perspective keeps us attuned to the issues of aesthetic collaboration, re-use of materials, and integration of nascent technologies. In equal parts, our staff has been involved in renovations and new construction for a variety of typologies including: cultural institutions, colleges and schools, historic structures, institutional and government work, interiors projects, single and multi-family residences, and art works. We have consulted for some of the leading architects and tackled complex projects that require thorough understandings of urban context and the archeology of construction. Our clientele includes the one-person practitioner, the medium-sized firm, and the large multi-nationals. We truly enjoy the art of structural engineering and deem it very important to produce quality, cost effective work with special attention to detail. Innovation, openness, depth of talent, and a strong desire to service our clients are at the essence of our firm's approach. Our engineers are licensed in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Connecticut, and Vermont. Our services include the structural components of the following: renovations and rehabilitations, new construction, high-rise and special structures, facade restoration for structural work, historic structures, industrial and artwork design, forensic engineering, structural investigations, analysis of existing structures for green updates, tenant work, co-op reviews, and sidewalk vault restorations.
